Donate to Support Armless Art Studio Expansion
Over the past year, I've dedicated myself to transforming a spare bedroom into a home art studio and office. Knowing that launching Armless Art would require a space tailored to my unique accessibility and creative needs, I invested my earnings from custom commissions, original artwork, and signed print sales into this project. These funds have gone towards new flooring, a fresh coat of paint, a multi-use desk/drafting table, a customized desktop PC for content creation, and various essential tools like a professional Canon photo printer and a Cricut cutting machine.
My in-home studio has become a sanctuary where creativity flows effortlessly, and I cherish the masterpieces I've created here. However, my ultimate dream is to establish a dedicated studio separate from my living space. On our property sits a two-story building that once housed a TV repair shop. Though currently unused and deteriorating, it is the perfect size for my vision: a full art studio upstairs and a small gallery and gift shop on the ground floor.
With this new space, I aim to open my artistry to the public, hosting art classes and providing a professional platform for local artists in our rural community. The building has "good bones" but requires significant renovations, including foundation repair, new insulation, walls, floors, and more.
I'm actively saving for this major project by attending craft shows, participating in public speaking and live art events, and making online sales. Additionally, I am applying for small business grants to help fund the renovations. Despite my efforts, I need your help to make this dream a reality.
